For most of my life I’ve been consciously engaged in what you might call ‘self improvement’. I’ve enjoyed yoga, Pilates, Alexander Technique and Xi Gong, to name but a few. I’ve had more or less regular chiropractic help, acupuncture, Bowen therapy and massage, the list goes on. And I’ve spent years honing my diet as a result of various minor health issues. I’ve meditated on and off over the years and my fallback position is a brilliant easy-to-do relaxation technique which has stood me in good stead for a long time. I’ve even undertaken the ten-day silent Vipassana retreat.
The net result is that I’ve always been pretty fit, though never a fanatical exerciser, meditator or diet-follower. Now it’s time to explore these avenues in more detail, to share some of what I’ve learned with you and, in turn, to learn from you.
My aim is to provide up-to-the-minute information to encourage you to make wise choices and healthy decisions for your own benefit and that of our planet.
Topics will range from diet and healthy eating to fitness and meditation, sustainable living, our environment and beyond, encompassing ancient traditions as well as the latest developments in health and well-being.
